running rich

  • i keep geting the code for bank one running rich what would sause this and how can i fix it its driven me up the wall becuse im trin to get out of the car im not happy with it at all some one plaese help me

Technically a lot of things could cause it...but for some reason your burning too much fuel

Yeah lack of a tune is my problem...except I occasionally run lean...then there's times where my o2 sensors can't get a decent reading

first step is always to replace the spark plugs with some good ones i suggest NGK Iridiums and also replace those plug wires they may be arching. then you would move on to bad ignition coil. and if thats not itthen you've got a bad/slow/leaking injector.
