Dude. The lights are lights. If they weren't bright enough to use they wouldn't sell them. As I said, its the BULBS. If you get them and they aren't bright enough, switch bulbs. If they still aren't bright enough, get HID's. You get the "OMG its rice" comment because it is. Sorry. Opinions are everywhere here, how many members do we have? That's how many opinions there are, plus another handful, because Zip's personalities each get one. You posted this is more than one place, you're ASKING FOR OPINIONS, you got them. Most people aren't a fan of the lights. Period. If you are in love with them buy them. They will work on your car and will light up the roadway for you to see.

Anyway: the (2) days I had them, I didn't like the way they threw light around. They didn't seem as bright as my hazy OEM lights, and it it seemed like I spent 2 hours to adjust them and they still didn't look right at night. Of course this was one of the first sets so I would assume they have improved.

I posted this in the other thread you started. Heres my suggestion.
Watch the video that AM provides. It tells you everything you need. I have them, but I dont like them. They seem cool for the first couple of months, but then you realize how much the light sucks. THen you realize how awkward your front end seems. If I could do it over again, I would go with smoked with clear corners (specially on a white car), with HIDs. Or smoked with clear corners and this How To Retrofit HID Projectors Into New Edge Headlights - 3.8 Mustang Message Board Btw, the Luminics are terrible. Get GE Nighthawk bulbs. Since our car housing isnt made for Projecters, the beam has a constant shake to it (which really pisses other drivers off). However, I did win awards on my school because other people like how they look at night. I get complments on them from people at stoplights. BUT THESE DO NOT OUTWAY THE BAD. The lighting is terrible. Anyways, heres what they look like on my car ![]() [/QUOTE]

I got some halo projectors a while back because i thought they looked good, well i was wrong but anyway.
The one halo never lit up fully on either side and the light quality was horrible, i could never get them aimed properly and i almost crashed on the highway because of poor visibility. Once that happened i took them out and put the stock ones back in. IMO dont waste your money. But in the end its your decision the right halo was barly noticable ![]() the aiming was shit ![]() thats the best i could get it. |

^There ya go. We post even if we don't like that to save you money, time, frustration, unsatisfaction, etc. , etc. People have had these cars for awhile, have modded them extensively, have toyed around with different visuals, and the census has come out years ago on parts like this. We give these answers to help people new to the game avoid things like the above.

OK, just to clarify, since a lot of people seem to hate these headlights and nothing good seems to be posted about them... I'll lighten things up.. I personally have not bought them yet but I have friends and seen people on this forum that have had no problems with having Halo Projector headlights on their mustang, with nothing more than the occasional trouble adjusting them (if you choose to get an HID conversion kit), but even that can be fixed by simply parking 5-8 feet away from a garage door and just doing trial and error. You're going to have problems with stuff no matter what it is, for some people its the projects, and for others its something completely different... just because these few have had problems does not mean everyone will.

I have them, you get shit tons of compliments from people who know nothing about cars, and i like them, but plan to spend a lot of time aiming them when you get them. To aim them, get 1-2ft away from the wall, then use tape and make a + at the center of the beam. Back up to 25ft away from the wall, and cover the one headlight with a towel while you aim the other. On the wall, make another + 2in down, keeping it as centered as possible. You want to line up the beam with that +. The top cog on the projector is the up-down movement, the one on the bottom is the left- right movement. Once you get the one headlight aimed, cover it and do the other one. Once you're all finished, have a buddy get in front of you and follow him to make sure theyre both on, aimed right, etc.
