Q's on Dual Halo lights from AM
Raxiom Smoked Dual Mustang Halo Projector Headlights - LED (99-04) at AmericanMuscle.com
Are these legal in TX ? and do they work with the stock switch, cause thats alot of lights for 1 switch that has the two options of headlights or whatever you call just the orange ones lol and then of course you got your brights on the turn signal lever. ive watched the video for install wiring doesnt look to hard ? do you need a different fuse for the lights ? any comments towards them ? Thanks

We have another codeman on our hands lol. Anyway legal yes! My other comments will also be withheld due to rice factor of said item, and the rest of said items questions about.

What they're getting at is that it's considered ricey to put projectors on a Mustang. Projects are great on imports (and ricers of course) but nothing looks better than smoked OEMs on a Mustang. Obviously you can do whatever you want to your car as you should only be modding it to please yourself. Just a little heads up that you might catch some shit for having projects. But we all get that for something or another. I've had multiple people tell me my wheels don't match my car. My car is white with black rocker stripes, black tribar emblems, and black wheels

well i think the halo's are bad ass, personally. And why catch shit here, yeah you can make a V6 powerfull as hell but whats the point ... why not do it to a V8 and make it even better ... so no need to catch shit were all trying to to take little engines and make them bad ass. Unless you start turning your engine into something much stronger, and i dont mean buy a nitro kit or just a charger of some sort. i mean stroke the engine make it a 4.2, cam all that good stuff then go FI, now your doing something usefull, full set of bolt ons is ricey ... so technically most of us are "ricey". its all opinion though. dont get me wrong i have love for our 6, but its nothing special. Im probably not going to screw with anymore power adders. I dont plan on going 4.2 and FI so i dont think ill screw with any more power, I may not have the fastest V6 but I want the most bad ass looking

The product itself. Well the installation looks pretty straight forward if you've done any wiring before. I have heard people around here complain about the quality of the projector headlights from AM. But I think you you seal them properly and don't try to shove HIDs in the housings, they'll work just fine.

Sealing them is pretty easy. Basically run to the auto parts store and get a tube of silicone sealant. When you get the headlights you'll see there's a line between the clear plastic front and the rear section of the housing. You'll just fill that crack with the sealant (all the way around) to keep any moisture from entering the headlight housing (moisture inside there is a bitch to get out).
Now when you say lining them up, I assume you mean adjusting the beam direction. With the stock headlights there is a screw on the top of the housing that you twist to adjust the direction of the light. I assume it's the same way with the projects however I'm not 100% sure on that.

I think they look good. F all the haters and worry only about your own opinion because its your car. Period! Personally i'm thinking of getting HID's for my 2007. You know that's always an option if you decide to keep the stock light fixtures but want to upgrade the lightbulbs.

well i love the look of the halo's otherwise id get the HID kit for stock lights ....
but id rather have the halo's i just really want to know if they are good visibly going down a dark highway. Ill be driving to and fro college and ill be coming home at night down a highway with lots of animal traffic id like to know that i can see things far in front and even to the sides. I dont want these projectors if its going to limit visability at night like that. If i was just doing town driving or interstate it wouldnt be so bad i know their are other options and cheaper option on halo's but i like the desing of the AM ones. like some pics at night of them shinning down the road. seen plenty of what the look like in the car day and night |

Whats to hate on? I had the set of angel eye head lights that went up first on cruzin concepts or mr body kit because my car was in the shop being painted and I was looking for headlights and those were the newest item posted the day of. This was back in 05 ish? maybe 04? Anyway nothing to hate on they are simply ugly as crap and make any mustang look like a complete ricer. Of course thankfully I don't have to drive his car, and I don't foot his bill so if he wants to do it to his car obviously nobody is stopping him. This is a forum when someone questions a visual mod its all opinion right?

How technical can you get on head lights, your not retrofitting hid's you buying lights. You unbox them, read the simplistic wiring instructions, follow them, and in 45min or less you've got new head lights. (they may be 100% plug&play now days)

They will work. Better or worse depends a lot on the bulb you use. These lights will be purely for the look, as ugly as it may be. Performance will be at least similar to stock, don't let THAT be the thing stopping you.
