Cracked my block

Ok. I know you guys say its not possible. but i did it. I was pulling out of a grocery store and i heard a "pop" noise followed by a "crack" noise. I pulled over and there was coolant and oil all over the road. I checked my overflow tank and there was oil in the coolant. I went into the store and got coolant and some oil, put it in and started it back up. Well, it came puring back out of the block. I know I cracked it. I know its from driving the car like its meant to be in nascar.

true but a cracked block would have been very violent and there probably would have been sparks if not fire.

its not that hard. Just pull the head off and all accesories. pull everything until you get down to the block. pull it out and put the new one in. Shouldnt cost more than about 2k if your going back to stock.

What are your mods? I have a hard time understanding how you can crack a block without applying some serious stress on it or punching it with a broken rod. Pics of this please.

yeah. Well I was going to get a 4.2, but had a problem with that. Then I was going to Buy a Cobra from this guy in Maryland, but since this happened, I cant afford to do it anymore. So, I guess I have to go back to stock for now. If I find a decent priced 4.2, ill do that.

if the block is 2 grand I say grab the crate 4.2 from http://www.precisionengine.com/rebui...nes/index.html

it is the same block so you shouldn't have a problem on install
