Turbo


im just wondering because i have a 20pound boost turbo off a kenworth semi
is there any way i can retro fit that turbo onto a engine for the mustang.
if so what would i have to do. its a 70mm turbo if u want measurments

UMM.... IDK but I would guess that that turbo would be extremely big for a v6 mustang. I am sure you could. There are always ways to do anything, It is just how much work you want to do and how much money your willing to spend.

I would recommend just looking for a used TMA turbo kit or talking to your local speed shop. And ask them how much it would cost for them to fab you up your own turbo kit.

a 20pound of boost turbo is not a type of turbo...you need measurements. you control the amount of boost with the wastegate springs not the turbo itself. hell you could take out the spring and probably spike it up to 70psi but the you will pop the motor.

You mean uve got a 20 pd Turbo? Seems like thats a 70 sumthing mm turbo, so that will be too be for ur stang, if its a v6

I think its going to be way to big for a sixxer, semi engines are massive, not sure on specifics but your car holds 5 quarts of oil, based on my quick research on google semi's hold several gallons of oil.

Post pics would this thing even fit in the engine bay

It depends. Some semis use a smaller turbo to get power until the big turbo spools up. If you got the small one it may work.
