imo...if someone is going to do a sc on these cars, the d1sc is the best bet. It makes good tq, quick spool, and great mid and top end.

Oh yeah it is, the turbo kits came and took the D1's shine in the v6 world. The 2.3L whipple would > the D1 though but only 1 of those kits out :p

I'm going to build a block and see what I can get out of this setup. Want to run the 6.95 heads up eliminator class at my local track. I think this combo with a good set of heads, loaded c4, 4.10gear and 28" tire should get it there.

Turbo Is more efficent and less costly in the long run IF you do your own labor and mainty it well.

single or twin? If you go twin, try to get a big one and a small one for less boost lag and quicker spooling throughout your powerband. It helps the low end so you don't have to drop down two gears to do a speedy running start.
If you even understood that... lol

why? I'll admit that I don't know much about turbo, but that's what I have read from a few different sources.

A single setup which costs much less, if setup correctly will get max boost at relatively low RPM levels. Especially in comparison with centrifical superchargers. And will be able to hit just about any HP level these cars or most people will want. off setting a small and large turbo is IMO becoming a thing of the past. Along with that whole Turbo Lag crap.

because two PROPERLY sized twins will get the job done....
Are you talking about doing sequential turbos where only the small one is spooling until X rpm then the bigger one also gets exhaust flow? Or are you talking just putting a big one and a small one?

Haha I did understand that O_O. I think i'll stick with a single turbo and get more research in before I actually do make a purchase.
