noise?

Ive noticed on my car that when im comeing of the highway and i take it out of gear my car will start to idle before im stopped... normally im still going about 20 or 30. It makes the noise like a electrical machine shutting down... is this a bad thing? i can mind it but i just dont want to be hurting it, it never did this till i got my CAI

further explain. Could be a noise that is muffled by that OE intake. Could be you computer stil lgetting use to the CAI on the idle part of the problem.

The computer has to get use to a CAI? If thats so and that could be the problem just unplug your battery for 15 min and let the computer reboot. Also if its something electrical that could also fix it.

its a little hard to explain over the computer but ill try... its like its fighting itself almost, its starting to idle because it drops below 1000 rpms but the car is still rolling fairly fast. its like a whirring sound that is fairly quite but if the stereo is off you can hear it easily. Ill try unplugging the battery for a bit and see how that goes

Unplugging the battery won't do much because it will have to relearn it. possibly putting you back at square one. The whirling sound is because the metal pipes make it louder. the fighting at idal could be a clogged IAC and putting the CAI on it made it put more clog in it.
