big 16 g on a 4.2


I have a extra turbo of a another car I had any one ever use 1 on a stang it is a Evo 3 big 16 g with a tdo5h compressor wheel supports 380 HP with 550 cfm

Yeah...but twins.

I have thought about the single 20g. Seen dsm's make 400+ with this turbo...pretty sure this motor could.

Would 1 big 16g be to small mine is ported has a bigger wast gate and a slow boy racing o2 housing

I came from DSM's.....PUT the little turbo down, and step away. That 16g is rated at 380hp, but it will run out of air long before it gets there trying to supply your motor with 21psi (that turbos efficiency). Hell they run out of air on a 2.0 4g63. The 20g is not much better, just has a very linear power delivery.
