Hey guys,
i cant find my answer..

i was planing on doing the swap...but
whats better putting the whole motor in(would it bolt up to my trans?)
the 2000 was auto and myns manual

or just swaping out the heads and up?

Swap motor,
buy x cal 3 from Trick Tuners, SCT Flash Tuners, SCT Flash Custom Tuning, PLX Devices widebands and gauges, SCT Flash tuners, SCT Xcal2, sct livewire, sct xcalibrator and have them tune it
have fun.

if you swap the entire motor you wouldnt have to tune it would you? it will bolt right up, you have to put the computer from the 00 into ur older car aswell.

if i do would it be easyer to just to the head and up swap

also.. i have a diablo sport preditor tuner. DiabloSport Predator Tuner at AmericanMuscle - Free Shipping! will that work as a tune or do i need a sct tuner?

if you are planning on using the manual transmission you would need a pilot bearing for the trans and if you are using the 99+ injectors you will need to have you stock 94-98 ecu tuned to work with the 99+ injectors because 94-98 injectors are 14# injectors and 99+ are 21# so the ecu just needs to know how to control them...however if you plan on using the automatic transmission you will need the ecu from the 99+ but why would anyone want to go to an automatic...manual all the way.

You'll need a modified fuel rail or one from a 97-99 E150 4.2L split port or 97-99 maybe to 01 F150 4.2L split port. They say you need an intake spacer if you use the econo or f150 rail but you may get away with bending the rail slightly. The 96-98 windstar fuel rail may be the best option but you have to bang the firewall back alittle to make room.
Your flywheel may bolt up but i'm not sure.
