Yea but i dont have headers or even exhaust yet
you shoud go with a dual exhaust setup though, will sound better and a little more power

Has anyone tried pacesetter lts on our six? I found them on ebay along with MAC. It seems most people get MAC. Also get the headers and exhaust done all at the same time so you don't have to pay extra labor.

I'm looking at getting the pacesetter LT's. but I'm gonna wait til I get the rest of the exhaust before I put them on..I'm gonna get a gt cat back I think with no crossover..does anyone else have a set up like that? or at least with no crossover?

Short tube offer no better flow then stock, some studies have even shown you loose power from some short tube headers for our cars. If you get headers go with longtube and you might as well ditch your cats since you would need to move them back. Mac is the only brand that makes longtubes for our cars that I could find.

I would do it all at once. From what ive heard lt's are a bitch to install. Get a shop to fab you an exhuast with your mufflers and lt's. It will be cheaper then getting the longtubes and a catback. I also think Gt catbacks come off at a differnt angle.

pace setters have bad fitment, and dont have flanges on the ends.

MAC longtubes arent hard to find, stang mods has them and so do many other sites, just not American Muscle

Do not buy shorties it would be a waste of money, time and effort.

And get an h pipe

I currently have a setup with no crossover. I think it sounds nice. It does not sound bad on our cars since they have an even firing. You don't need no mid pipe. If you are going to get a midpipe an H pipe will offer a deeper sound while an X Pipe is better design but is not needed for a even firing 6, and the X will make it more ricer sounding.

No need for a mid pipe, its just a different sound.

And from what I've heard the pacesetters are pretty awesome, if I needed headers I would go with them.

Hmm, ive heard nothing but people bashing them. But i have never actually used them. I do have a brand new set of MAC longtubes sitting in my garage waiting to go on

I bought a o/r mac shorty h pipe, only because no shop in my city or anywhere close has a mandrel bender,

My total cost for all new exhaust and gt bumper in the right color and 02 extensions was $1250, yes it was expensive but the only option for me

yea its about 325 for me if i were to go with exhaust,
So much competition with exhaust shops makes for low prices
