full suspension.

well my shocks are shot, probably struts too. my car has 85k miles on it and i drive on extremely bumpy roads with alot of potholes. the car seems fine to me but both my dad and brother drove it and told me it was way too bumpy and i need new shocks. so i figure what the hell, thats what i get for buying a damn used car. id like a bit stiffer suspension but not so stiff that its not comfortable. im on a tight budget. so what can yall recomend for me? if i have enough money i might just go ahead and lower it too, yall prefer eibach right?i was looking in summit catalog and they had monroe struts for like $60 a pair. do yall know anything about monroe? just recomend some budget stuff and link it if you could please. much thanks everyone, this car is starting to become a money pit. just today my brakes started squeeling. -_-

if you want a full suspension like your title says.. get a mach1 or bullit take off suspension.. it will be more than enough.. the only diff between the two is the bullit comes with diff sway bars. www.stangmods.com is where i found it.. somehting like 460 bucks if you just want shocks.. (not perf just replacement stocks) they wouldnt be all that expensive

would these be better than stock? im assuming so, or at least hoping ford would make them better. http://www.stangmods.com/Mach-1-Shoc...ts-p/00209.htm
i really dont have enough money right now for that but pay check advance maybe ? haha
i was hoping for that price including springs. i dont know much about suspension but do the struts really need to be changed?
also do yall suggest ford racing b or c springs? i might go c if money isnt a problem.

well a mach1 can go 140mph in 4th gear so i am thinking since they made the suspension to deal with that speed.. it will be overkill for your sixer.

and the full suspension kit comes with the springs too.. 1inch drop all around..

just get the mach1 shocks and struts if you can.. then if you want springs just get the c-springs they are plenty for the price

suspension

If you want a performance suspension roush offers good kits, all you need to get back into your car is a good power upgrade trust me you'll like it then, if you dont like your car since you said its bondo'd is bonbdo what needs to be done and just start sanding the paint off and primer it up u'd be suprised how many people like to buy primered cars since they cheap to paint it the color they want then just buy a GT or Cobre (get a cobra)

your suppose to change the oem parts after like 50-6o thousand miles

i wouldnt just do springs. i'd get a steeda or ebiach kit.

me personally, i dont like the drop i got, its barely noticable(1.25infront, 1inch in back)
im going with 1inch in back or 1.25 and 1.5 up front after i take out my 7.5.
shocks, struts, springs, and c/c plates. it'll cost alot but my shocks and struts are having hell.

full billet kit is 450 bucks and you could just get new springs for a lower stance

c-springs are just for looks.. i really didnt notice any handling difference except it doesn seem like there is as much wind drag over 60mph...

i say you dont go cheap on it if you want a badass set up that will let you scream through corners get eibach full suspension kit.. it will run you like 1,500.. comes with c/c plates, springs, shocks, struts, sway bars and adjustable lowering so you can go anywhere from a 1'' drop to 3''

yeah the lower springs aren't gonna help any with the bullitt kit. If you want hardcore performance get the saleen kit it will be about 1800-2000 and your car will be a road racing machine.
