Damn a/c

Well my a/c decided to go out the week it hits 90 degrees... What's weird is it only goes through the defroster vents and that's it. Doesn't matter what setting I have it on. Though it still come out cold from the defroster vents. Anyone know what could be wrong?

Sounds like an electrical problem with your switch.

Is this something that I could probablly fix myself? Well i found out from my clubs forums that it's most likely a vaccum leak. I'm going to check that when I get back into town today.

Yea the flappers inside the HVAC system are actuated by vacuum lines. Check the vaccum diagram for the HVAC system at the link below. It should tell you what color the tube is that controls the flapper for where the air is supplied to and at least give you a place to start maybe?
