Won't you still need to install an 8.8 when you start adding horsepower? Don't want to damage anything back there.

Seems to me that if you're serious enough to put t-lok and gears in your stang then you should be serious enough to do it with a better axle.

I found everything you needs for 385. It is frpp gears, t-lok, master bearing kit, and friction modifier.

FM

bearing kit
http://www.latemodelrestoration.com/...0%201&comp=LRS

gears (they have 3.73 on the same site for the same price if you want them)
http://www.latemodelrestoration.com/...0%201&comp=LRS

t-lok
http://www.gefracing.com/Merchant2/m...egory_Code=38L

And 8.8 is still a 28spline axle they aren't upgraded any. The only thing that stronger is the actual rear dif. the 7.5 with t-lok will be fine up to 350 horses unless your getting some crazy hard hooks on a strip on slicks.

The 8.8" has nothing to do with better axles. The axles that are in the 7.5 are in the 8.8. The difference is in the size and strength of the differential, and the parts inside of the differential.
