What to do? Just looking for ideas!

I have a 07 v6 mustang. I am just looking for ideas on what to mod 1st performance wise. I know people are saying going to dual exhaust 1st but for the 05+ mustangs the rear has to be changed to do so and I do not want to do that because I havnt seen any around here and I just dont like the way they look, plus I want to look like a sleeper. The money is not an issue at this time because I am looking for ideas on what to do. Then ultimatly decide from what I read would be the best to do so.
Thanks for the help in advance!

Oh and for those who want to know why I didn't get a GT re-read the word SLEEPER!

your going to need duals eventually if your thinking about any power adders if your dont have good exhaust flow u dont have shyte. but a first mod is cold air intake, maybe some gears and a traction lock, duel exhaust, some UD pulleys then some nice plugs wires and a coil pack.

ok get duals but keep your stock tailpipe and on the other side have a turndown hidden by your bumper that no one can see with out getting under the car. So you will look like a really good sounding v6. Also get a CAI, UD pulleys, a tuner and gears and t-lok and then your next step would be forced induction or engine work.

Well GF I was planning on upgrading the exhaust to either the Bassini BX40055 or just do a Flowmaster 40. So would that still be possible to do the turn-down on one side? I already have the X-Calibrator V2 Strategy Flasher on order. but will a CAI work alot better than a drop-in K&N filter? Every car i ever owned I dropped in a K&N so I honestly dont know if there is or not.
Thanks for the help given!

Any CAI you get will come with a high flow filter. getting a catback is dumb since you are keeping the restrictive y-pipe. Go to a muffler shop tell them you want true duals with a crossover bar with flowmaster super 40 mufflers then tell them you want to keep it looking stock so hide the other pipe behind the bumper. It will run about 375 for all the exhaust work parts included.

SSStang, no money isnt really an issue. I have about $5k to knock around with right now from my tax return. After that is gone then I will have to "save up" which is why I was just wanting ideas at this time. You know get ideas do some homework then make the choice. And i was thinking about doing a turbo -s/c a little later. Right now i am just doing what u can get the small performace gains get a feel for the car and what it can do drive the hell out of it then go for the big boys. I had a turbo on my 1st car and it had a bit of a lag before it kicked in but once it did snap goes the neck in the passenger seat who wasnt expecting it lol.
GF, The shop I usually deal with orders whatever you want not in stock on Tuesday they will get it the following Monday. But as I said in the above paragraph: I have about $5k to knock around with. If you feel what I am doing with the little gains over the big gains is the wrong way to go, I am willing to change up the little plan i had in the back of my mind before I wanted to ask of this forum. I know $5k isnt much but it can get almost all of the minor things done in prep for the biggie.

Well would what u told me to do in the previous post eliminate the Y-pipe? or would i have to tell the shop to X or H it or whatever? And GF that was the fastest reply I have ever seen!
I dont want to drop the whole $5k at one time into the car though. I like seeing my checking account have funds in it! lol. Thats why I am wanting to get an ideas decide then get it. I am NO mechanic so I cant much of the work myself that could be done to get every last pony (forgive the pun) out of the motor. If i was I would have bought a Mustang GT-BODY get an LS6 motor and do what needs to be done to have THE FRANKENSTEIN!
