Window Tint?

Anybody have their windows tinted?
I'd like to get mine tinted to keep it alittle cooler in the car and keep the interior from fading.

Any recommendations/pics? and does anyone make pre cut mustang tint kits?
I was thinking about doing 35% personally. Not too dark that it would be a magnet for cops.

I live in PA, the laws about tint are rather confusing here.

I have my windows tinted, I live in Ontario so we don't care about how dark they are lol. but whoever did mine, didn't do a very good job, they cut corners..literally, and the window has some bubbling in it..thats the key to watch out for..and part of the window that has those bumps over it, is very hard to tint because air stays in there like a mother. I would like to get my tint redone at some point, but I have a long list of things I want to do before that..however I will be interested to see what others say. Pre cut tint kits I do not know of however.

Yeah. According to PA DOT anything less than 70% isn't necessarily illegal, but frowned upon. Later in the law it states that as long as you can see through it, its legal. this website was helpful.
http://www.berksweb.com/users/dmv/tint/

So I figure 35% would be ok, dark enough to make me happy but still light enough to see through.

I personally thought 35% was a federal law kind of thing... Unless it came from the factory with less than that. But I am prob wrong, just what I thought though.

I just got nailed for my 20% tint with a 110 ticket, fighting it in a month. I live in chestercounty and cops normally dont really care. I have a friend in a silver gti who has 5% and a cop hasnt looked twice. Since your not as much of a grabber color you will probly not get pulled over as much. 35% Will not be very dark and you shouldnt have a problum. Basicly it all comes down to luck and the types of cops you go past.

I like the paint job FL.
For the guys with the tint, did you get it done or do it yourself?
I feel like I could handle doing it myself. I have a couple friends who have done it to their cars and theirs looks pretty damn good.

Take it to the shop for sure. A good shop would have quality tint. Mine sucks from the previous owner. It has purple lines and is peeling, but I'm not going to pay for tint...

I had 30% done on mine and think its perfect. Legal limit in Wisconsin is 50 on the front sides and 35 in the back but haven't had any problems yet *knock on wood* I'll post some pictures later.

Also beware of the dot matrix.... I ended up having to put a vinyl strip over the top part of my back window because it annoyed the hell out of me (vinyl ended up looking very nice)
Just be sure to bring that up when you talk to someone about tinting it and make sure they have a solution for it so you don't end up with tint peeling off or looking like crap.

still looking for a solution to the bumpy area where there is no tint. Im thinking spray tint might help this.

And I would hands down get a shop to do it, most shops come with lifetime fading/ bubbling warranty. The other reason is becuase the side windows may be easy to do but I hear the back windows hell.

How hard is it to see out of tinted windows, especially at night?
I feel like I'd have trouble seeing to be able to back up ?
