Power to 2 wheels??

Ok so v6 Mustangs are known for their "one-wheel squeal", anyone link me what I need to fix this and how hard is it to do myself? It's kinda embarrasing that my friends t-bird burns both rubbers and I can only burn one .

Kk so I can use 4.10 gears with that, now I'm going to have to stop by the mechanic to get them in right? both the positrak and the gears, right?

um...yeah...dont forget your speedometer is giong to be all messed up once you get 4.10's....you can get something to fix that or you can get a tuner to fix it. .....alotta people recomment NOT do to gear installs yourself..soo yes stop in and have the mechanic put them in.....it'll cost a pretty penny but its worth it. have him put in the positrak and gears...

gear installs are just a bit tricky... You have to be skilled and well trained to do it your self...

don't worry bout the speedo just a quick plug and play to re adjust and your good...

and an average good shop can do the job for $300 and you can buy a full set of parts for $375 including newparts that tend to wear out... so yea

Ya I figured the gear thing was out of my leage, I'll goto my mechanic and show him what I want before I order it, but regular 4.10 gears (it's an automatic) and the positrak, I'm getting magnaflows and hpipe but I'll do those myself.

yea fords is called a t-lok and that will be your best bet thats what they put in all their cars... that have a LSD rear end...

the t-lok will do just fine... and you can order everything off e-bay or you might be able to find them else where... as long as they are new i haven't heard of anything failing... just don't get a used t-lok cuz it is a clutch type LSD and it can wear out all though rare and hard to do... so good luck and don't let your mechanic charge more then 400-450 hopefully it will be less

Heh, my main concern is beating my friend, he just got an audi a4 and he thinks he's hot shit all of a sudden. A few bolt ons and I'm going to roast him. Right now his audi is as fast as I am, 4.10 gears, tlok, exhaust, cold air intake and he's going to shit himself.

They're 6's and they have a little bit more get up and go than a v6 mustang. They mainly give their 18 year old owners a big head, and no I don't let him live down the fact that he brags about his moms old car.

Will these work? And I found a converter kit for dual exhaust, is that what I want or do I just want a regular H-Pipe to replace my Y-Pipe.
http://www.americanmuscle.com/v6duexadkit1.html

And as far as CAI are concerned is this what I'm looking for?
http://www.americanmuscle.com/bbk-cai-v6-46.html
Do I need a heat shield or something? or should it be included? or should I look for a different one with one included?
