Other Types of Intake (IE:Ram air)

I was wondering what is the best for my intake. i was thinking cold air but ive heard that does jack all but make the car look better. my friend next door got ram air on his car. what would be good in price range of 200-400 bucks?

I have a RAM AIR I did with parts from lowes for 18 bucks, but it does little more than CAI. you can get a CAI for 30 bucks. Get CAI and UD pulleys.

where would i get UD pulleys? im in canada. only shops around here is NAPA and canadian tire.. lol and walmart<--im not even going there lol

yea i was looking under my hood and i saw that the plastic plate is really easy to remove... you can cut it up and make it a good mounting bracket for the ram hose and then run that up right to your filter... Faleen how did you connect yours... i remember our debates on it

gonna get CAI ordered off of ebay. can add ram air tto it right? can any1 get me a linnk to a good seller? im new to ebay

well it would be a custom fabbed set up with some dryer vent hosing but yea pretty much... since your filter is in fender it just is taking fresh really cold air and forcing it into the current system from an outside the car whole...

UD's will have to be ordered off line... i got mine at VMPtunning and had great service and speed

clamps and 5in dryer hose to the CAI filter. You can get pulleys at

true ram air compared to cold air intake are minimal. Just go cheaper and get the cold air intake.
