M-90 on a 2001


wait i dont think u can but can u put and m-90 on a 2001 v6? i have no clue on this supercharger stuff. I need to learn! lol

no because anything you gain from the s/c you will lose converting your engine to single port intake ot get the M90 to work. 2001 has split port and it makes up for the power the s/c would have added.

If you want to do a roots style supercharger go with the m112. You have to get some custom fab work done, but you can make more power than if you did with the m90. You can make the m90 work for your car, but it's not as beneficial as if you went with a centrifugal supercharger, and/or the possibilities with the m112.

tomzac did it off a single port though his would be easier, Apparently there is a kit coming out for the m112 for the 99+ stangs but on the split port you will make more power with a centrifugal style.
