You'll have the exact same setup I do when you're done with this. Minus the cam for now. The cam is just about as fulfilling a mod as the supercharger because it gives you a nice idle. CXRacing stuff is great. It depends what rpms you're running to as far as boost #s will be. At 6k mine will be around 11 psi with a 3.33". But then again I don't think its best to go to 6k with a stock valvetrain. So you would want a smaller pulley, IMO too. It's fun to do! Have a good time doing it. It should really be a 1 whole day thing with fabbing. As long as you have what you need, it's really easy to put oneof these on.

Matt, why don't you get the cam done first then try? You would be safer...

I dont really have the knowhow or skill to work inside the engine yet. I know intercooler+ supercharger and shit takes alot of work but it all seems alot more straight foward than a cam. A cam will come l8r in the year and I will get it retuned with it in. And I can get the windstar used for 80 bucks
As for the 1 day of fabbing, my car will probuly be apart a good 2 or 3 days while doing this, im going to take it nice and easy.

Or save the $ now from not having to re-tune it , a pulley swap tune is normally pretty cheap vs tuning for something like a new cam.

Or you could go with trick tuners and buy their heavily modified tune and get free retunes and you can retune for your cam.

As much as I <3 trick tuners ...

Blower + cams = go to a dyno.

Ok^
It was just an option. I am not the expert since I am just getting into getting my car tuned, but since I have just bolt ons, Trick tuners has been awesome.

If your car is a work in progress, I would get the sct pro racer software and learn to tune it yourself.

How does that work? Do you just use datalogs and a laptop and kinda go from there?

You tune it yourself. adjust a/f timing shifting ect ect ect. Best thing to do is get the ford manuel from sct and spend a lot of time on the sct pro racer forums.

Ok, that is kinda cool. I don't think it is for me since I am not that serious about my car. But it is cool for ppl that go to the track all the time.

I would not have them tune a blower setup through remote tuning. Better off putting it on the dyno to get the most out of it.

Oh , I didnt make that clear at all haha. By not tuning it myself I ment Im going to get it professionly dynotuned. The canned tuned was just a side note, not what im going to relying on.

Doing a cam swap is probably easier than the whole supercharger, IC, piping...just to let you know. There isn't too much to mess up with a pushrod engine.
