you would need a new bellhousing, but it can fit. It's more difficult than just dropping the motor in. Unless this is gonna be a balls out strip only car...it's not worth the effort.

Your car should be as you desire... If you wanna 5.0 then put a 5 0 in it... they are nice engiens if you get a crate motor you can get them with a lot of power... or one from a junk yard that is re done...

it will not be a direct drop in a few mounts will have to be changed and the tranny will not mesh right the bell housing will be off a bit... but if you could find one with the 5.0 out of a junker that would work... everything else if you use a OBDII harness should be kinda easy... just a lot of custom fabbing

Wouldn't be as much fabbing as you think. In the last couple of months of the 95 with the 5.0 they used OBD II in them. I would personally go for a crate motor though.

If you have a 94 or 95 it isn't that bad, but if you don't and still want an 8 get a 351w

if you have the chance to get a 5.0 they are pretty good motors just upgrade it a bit before you drop it in.. they say "5.0 didnt come fast" who cares fox bodys are also heavier than our cars so youll see more power through that.. also 5.0 react to mods very well.. you wont have to fabricate anything.. you just need custom motor mounts.. the wiring harness for the motor will be the hardest/expensive part you need
