The real difference between windstar and cai

How much is difference between a CAI and a Windstar kit in performance and sound if i am not getting any other mods besides wide low profile wheels?

I am not a street racer and have never been to a track so all I want are mods that add acceleration sound. I'm not going to spend over $500 more on this car
so I don't need future proof mods I want one or two last mods before I stop throwing away money on a V6 and I need good fuel economy because of college starting next month.

CAI 1-2 hp...Windstar 10-15 hp

at least that what the dyno showed on my friends 02 v6

the difference is everything...
CAI- 1 hp, some looks, some sound
WINDSTAR- 7hp/15tq (01-04 mustangs), Better looks, Better sound

thanks 6er_w/a_Vengance i chose the windstar because of the cheap hp.
Because I will be driving this car for the next 4 years and almost every sedan on the road is faster.

well windstars not a cheap mod for only 10-15hp...id go gears and tlok for that money

That's part of of the reason im going with the windstar + looks and sound which you don't get from a t-lock and gears.

hey esg i agree with your signature but sound is more important when you have no need for anything over 300hp and when I need that I could get a blower.
