OBD II in a 95'


according to my driver's manual which i found the other day (Finally). it has instructions for a OBD II drive cycle, would this mean i have an OBDII system?

It depends on obd2 DIaG connector you use if the one on the DS near the ctr console or the old OBD1 connector which i think is under the hood

Check it is a little trapezoid looking plug under your dash on the drivers side near the start of the plastic for the center console. It will have a bunch of little holes in it

if your manual corresponds to a OBDII drive cycle then yes the car the manual came with is OBDII but who is to say ur manual is the original only u know

Your Mustang should be OBD2.........

Ford used the 1995 3.8 Mustang and the 1995 4.6 Thunderbirds, along with a few other models as test platforms for OBD2, which was mandated for all 1996 Models.
