Bigger Wheels=slower 1/4 mile time
Hey all,
I'm headed to the drag strip in a couple of days and I have a question. I've upgraded my wheels quite a while back to 18s, will this affect my 1/4 mile time. Common sense tells me yes but by how much..I have a tune set up for my stang with the upgraded wheel size but is it better to stick some stock ponies back on and run??

Unless you're going to have bad traction problems, I would stick the originals back on. The 18's will make you slower, but I don't know how much.

If your geared properly for tire diameiter then its more of a rotating weight issue.

Its more the weight than the size I think.
You should be fine with a set of standard wheels and tires.
