Performance difference is negligible.
If you got a catback for a v6 you will need to do some fab work to make it fit and H-pipe (which will give you the best sound IMO) since it is made to bolt onto the stock Y

H isnt meant for performance.....so you can forget that part...sound yeah.....Nascar drivers use X pipes because the power gains over Hpipes

Oh heavily modded engines, but on a v6 it would be almost nothing a good h-pipe will give you a better sound and just as much performance as any x-pipe on our v6's

agreed

with the weak power that our cars are putting out H is just as equal to X... sound wise H

and you could talk to your local exhaust shop and see if they can fab up a custom H ... and see how much that would cost verse a pre made one from a mass supplier

No I think he meant magnaflow mufflers I don't like them very much either. BUt either way his catback looks like
(nothing) /----------
-----------
(nothing) \----------

((nothing's used as place holders so the diagram will come out right))

but for the H-pipe he needs it to look like this
---------------

---------------

Ya you can buy an H-pipe online that should bolt right onto your headers, no custom work required

Well he has no headers the problem with the h-pipe is the fact that a v6 catback is made to bolt up to a y-pipe which means the cat back starts as one pipe where to make it fit a h-pipe you will need it in 2 seperate pipes.

Magnaflows sound better on other cars...or heavy modded cars that are looking to keep it down a bit but sound mean still...flowmasters can make cars all sound and no walk....so its up the the owner....my buddies cobra has magnaflows and tho his car is loud regardless with flowmasters it will be insane

http://video.google.com/videoplay?do...low+on+mustang

I know that is a V6 because first off if it was a gt he would know how to burn out... An second he has no grill lights an stock v6 rims...

I just dont know if he did X Y or H.....
