stock one i believe is 190, lord i hope your thermo is just bad and its not like a blown head gasket like our years are prone to do..

i know its not a blown head gasket... and i know the fan and thermo are fucked up... because i went through 2 fuses today in a matter of ten minutes... like i fired it up the auto guy watched it blow and got me a new one... soo... i need ot get a new fan and i wanna get a new thermo just to help it out

... ima go check the head gasket and make sure that it isn't blown... where would oil be leaking form if it was blown... and how hot does it have to get to melt one of those?

If it was blown when the engine overheats while running your heater would stop working. and then when the thermo opens the gauge will come rapidly down and then youll have heat.

also you may see like a black sludge buildup in the filler neck for the radiator.

sometimes its a small hole in the gasket that just pressurizes the coolant system which effs everything up but visible you may not see anything leaking and you probably wouldnt even notice it burning out the exhaust unless it was severely blown

huh... well ima hope that didn't happen ... over heating won't cause it will it??

thats not it then... cuz my heat just kept going up and up... the bad thing is that i was downtown and couldn't get out... so i had to keep shuting it off every block at the light... just to try and help...

like i said the fan is fucked so ima try and pick up a cheap reprodution or maybe get a new fan that can go inside the stock housing... ima have the car taken in and have the new leak inspected and have the wiring harness checked to see if the short is in the fan or in the wiring inside the bay... so im not sure ill have it in tomorrow
