Went over lunch and had my alternator tested, it was bad, so i just bought the one from O rielly's for 220ish w/ life time warrenty. So were back in buisness

It just means (from what I understand anyway, the way it was explained to me) that you have a lifetime warranty if it goes defective....
Which means you prob just paid 20-80$ for a lifetime warranty IF it goes defective. If it wears out they do not cover it, if you break it they do not cover it. Only way its covered is if it goes defective.... VS the remanned one which would have been cheaper that has a one year defective warranty. Which from what I hear around here most parts go defective in 90-120 days if not then, then they usually last until they wear out. Edit also 220 is steep bro!!!! See if they price match (most do within 30days of buying it) call around find that part number and cheaper price see if you can get some $$$ back. Just my .02 of course

Why didn't you just check to see if the one you had would work? The 94 to 04 differences are very few I would imagine it should work... but either way glad to hear its up and running.
Remanufactured parts are 9 times out of 10 just as good as the one that was on your car, if not more often.

Goren ill be going sunday to fix that 94 and get it running to sell, figured I just might as well leave it alone and buy a new one, was gonna have to anyways ...
its all good though... for now atleast |
