exhaust for an '06

what would yall recommend ive found many systems that are around $500 that say that their "throaty" but ive yet to be able to here them... also with the v6's is it possible for them to be 3 things??
1)throaty
2)excessively loud
3)street legal
all at the same time or am i gonna have to sacrifice one if i do i will gladly drop the street legal because were i live the cops dont really care about the sound or how loud it is just if you show off alot.
thanks for the help in advance
EDIT: oh yea i also want a true dual exhaust with an h - pipe that can later on be upgraded with some long tube headers... because im only gonna be able to afford the exhaust first

Throaty yes flowmaster mufflers
2. loud isn't always good
3. if you have emissions you just need cats

get custom true duals with flowmaster super 40's and a cross over bar. It will run you about 375 and be throaty, plenty loud. and legal

It would sound ok, but it will be really ruff idle since the muffler will be right under your seat. Side exhaust also has a bad rep of being ripped out.

flowmasters will sound great on yours and with a custom h-pipe(crossover bar) will keep it deep throughout the rpm band

side exhaust is purely for the look of it haha.. i will admit it looks sick.. BUT you will scrape it theres no way around it.. and you will eventually have it fall off prematurely (but that would take a few years of hitting bumps)

i kept my stock v6 bumper when I did my dual exhaust setup. I have the same setup Faleen just told you to get. With mine, I didn't do tips and they are slightly dumped like the stock single exhaust is currently, except they are mounted a little higher so they have a nice sleeper effect b/c you can't really see the pipes.

Yeah the 05's look funny since they did the one cut out. You could stick out one pipe and hide the other with a turn down. Or do the other cut out yourself.
