A new camshaft and a windstar intake. New gears in your rear axle assembly will make it seem faster but will hurt gas mileage.

Definitely get a windstar, or maybe some 4.10s and a T-Lock

You should get a goal for your car first and then plan it out ahead of time. Like if you want X amount of power or a certain 1/4 time, this will save you time and money in the long run (like how you would basically waste your money buying a CAI if you end up getting a windstar)
If you're going for power, cam and windstar are a good place to start
1/4 mile would benefit from gears and t-lok and maybe even some spray
and a tune will help everything on an automatic

yo man im running 04 auto, check my sig for mods

my first was AM CAI, and Tuner. Auto+Tuner=LOVE, most people say wait on the tuner for when you "need" it, if your an auto that will be your biggest upgrade up front!!! it changes your shift points to higher rpms, and makes it 25% firmness increase. sometimes my tires lose traction from 1 - 2 gear, and i got 10" wide rims and tlok ! lol the gears help to

the CAI, well sounds better if you want to spend money for usefull power on an intake get windstar.

Tuner+tlok and gears= Great first mods tuner 375ish$ from AM, gears idk 7.5 prices cause I got a cheap 8.8 put in, but I think its a lil over 300$ for gears and tlok ??? not sure, but install is around 300$ usually.

SCT tuner and 4.10 gears w/ tlok ( tlok=posi trac )
