Yeah uhh.. I'm not sure how you managed to waste 12k on a 2v but... the cobra motor also has an 1.1k core charge and no s/c

yeah that core charge is a killer, but that 12k wasnt wasted. alot of people would say why do you waste a whole lot of money building a v6. the answer? cause its what we wanted!

No you don't get it...
If I spend 12k on a 2 valve it better run low 11s or high 10s if not better. D:

What did you spend 12k on? And what was the result? And where is that motor now if you want this plain 2v for 5 grand>?

we spent 12k on a high performance 4.6 windsor. car came with a romeo. we still have the romeo on the engine stand. the windsor puts out around 400 on the dyno. 13 lb boost ready to put 750 to the rearwheels. (quoted by dss high performance.) shes really a 4.6 stroked to a 5.0. but yeah. the motor is still in our 03 roush

Did it really matter if it was a windsor or romeo?

But, why would it matter? If you were having a motor built I would hope you would be using a cobra crank or something better.

That is not too bad. We built a 4.6 from a mustang gt into a 5.0 stroker at my college and they charge like nothing for labor. It ended up costing for the forged internals, and the work to rebuild the motor close to 6k. And that was the fact that the guy already had the motor. If you would put some new heads on different intake and cams, and with the new block and everything I can see it getting really really expensive fast. The mod motors are extremely expensive to build.

lol. it was just a general question. it wasnt about specs or anything. just getting an opinion on if i was seeing things or if i was missing something. but to ask another question. does anyone run these? im thinkin about gettin um cause im leanin more on more on getting the high performance parts from super six motorsports.

and my other question. does anyone know how many horses a naturally asperated 4.2 stroker from there with all stage 2+ parts would put out?
