you can buy them from american muscle... there pretty much the same price everywhere else.. just remember, stock v6 rear ends are 7.5in.. about 220$ for the tlok and 170$ for the gears.. and +75$ if u get the bearing/install kit

yes that is correct.. and i was gonna get ford to install my gears/tlok/bearing kit, and they told me they would do it for 480$ and 526$ if i wanted them to recalibrate my speedo so it wouldnt be off.. but i decided to go a differ route and im tryin to sell all of it haha

edit: i agree u have 2 different posts both dealing with gears.. try and keep similiar things in one thread

If you plan on making alot of power in the future get an 8.8 from a GT, its usually cheap and already has a tlok in it.

and if you get new gears, you NEED to get a rebuild kit!

+1. The 8.8 can handle the power better, and you have more gear choices. If i was going with the 8.8 and going FI in the future, i would look into 3.55 gears.

If I had the 8.8 I would not even mess with the stock LS unless you are running bolt ons. I don't like clutches in my differential. Just a weak link. If you are running FI go with 31 spline axles, and a detroit or eaton style locker that will hold up, no weak clutches to burn up.

I did sir. Thank you very much. I have one side almost done. I will not get a chance to work on it for a day or two, but then hopefully I will get that side done and the other side. Then I will send them back. I will post up some pics as well.
