you need a tuner to remove it. Something like the SCT products, Diablo products, etc.

I have z rated. I trip to Las Vegas occassionally and if any of you are from so. cali, you know what I am talking about. There is 375 miles of NOTHING on the interstate 15. You drive in the desert 90% of the time. This is the only time I race. I use to have a 2001 that I took up to 140MPH but my new 2006 tops at 117. I have driven cars 200+ mph so I am experienced at these speeds so the risk for me is a lot less than some random person driving high speeds.

Before I get questioned on the 200+ MPH. I am a stage technician and I worked the premier events for ferrari, lambo, maserati, bently and almost all the USA stuff. I work with the local union in Vegas and usually work SEMA and here in LA I work the auto show every year. The great thing about premier events in vegas is they bring cars for the guests to drive. They also let us "light hangers" drive them too. I took the maserati M12 to about 206 MPH. They actually stopped production on these (only made a prototype and like 5 cars that the execs have) because they were WAY to expensive and illegal in most countries (0-60 in 2 seconds!)

How is an SCT Tuner? I do not want my "toy" to turn into a cash wh0re. I kinda want something that I can mount in the car with a pot or something that I can set #1 to stock #2 added HP #3 Fuel Economy #4 <Insert recommended tune here> I kinda want to be able to switch on the fly.

a tuner you can't "set on the fly"... you could get a 4bank SCT chip though.

SCT is one of the best tuners out there.

If I was to get a 4 bank SCT chip. How to change the tune? Do I have to shut down the car and turn the switch or can I do it while driving? (Example, driving somewhere and want good MPG but some little rice eater wants to race, can I flip over to high performance right then and there?)

you plug it into your computer.. it should be on the drivers side under the center console (don't quote me on that. i drive an 01)

just e-mail the people a list of your mods and they will give you a good tune.
