squeaky brakes...

so my brakes are squeaking almost everytime i use em. what do i need to replace? i know this is like the most simple question. back off. im a kid.

Sometimes cheapo pads just squeal a little when they get worn in. Mine do it sometimes, sometimes it dosnt. If you want to fix it cheap you can get a can of like brake desquealer thing for like 10 bucks. If you want to fix it right get new brake pads.

You could also get slotted rotors with new pads if you wanted., I think you can get all 4 with pads for like 300 if you look

And you can scuff up your pads which will help eliminate the sqeaking for a little

Lmfao mine does this.. what i do is back up really fast then slam the shit outta the breaks and usually works (make sure nothings in your truck or inside the car. i.e. DRINKS) Haha

Try putting brake grease on your calipers. Do A visual inspection. Don't go out and buy pads and rotors before you look to see if you need them.

Brakes on my '08 started squeaking at 25K. I replaced the front and rear pads with the O'Reilly Auto house brand ceramics. No squeaks and very little dust 15K in.
