Head and Manifold swap in a 95 Mustang

I am new to this forum and i'd like to say this has helped a lot. I bought a 95 3.8L Automatic Mustang about a year ago for a steal from a girl that desperately needed money for school. Her loss my gain! Haha Ive never really done anything to it besides the basic oil change and other maintanence. Although many people look down at it because it is a V6, I personally like my car. It has about 182,000 miles and i got it at about 164,000. I wanted to know how i would go about swapping in 99+ heads and a 99-01 manifold and if its worth it. Or do would someone recommend starting somewhere else? I have also debated wether to just rebuild the engine and transmission but havent really decided about that yet. Both my dad and little brother tell me its not worth it? Please help. Thanks!

Listen to your Dad. There are many things to consider when adding HP to your stang, first and foremost money being one.
