Brake Dust

I have new 20" and would hate to have BRAKE DUST destroy these. I have seen shields for up to 18". Has anyone seen any for 20". Please do not tell me JUST CLEAN THEM. I TRY every weekend to clean but sometimes I work and that becomes hard.

Clean them period.

Those brake shields look like a$$ on most cars, you could always get brake pads that are supposed to create "less" dust.

yeah, but he's right. they look horrible. Just dont slam the brakes, ride easy and wash your car every weekend and youll be fine.

Yeah the break dust shields also trap in heat and if you run your car hard it isn't great for the breaking system. get some of those magic erasers ane whenever you get home make it a habit to go rub them down it will take 2 mins tops and you will be happier

I do, but you said your going for "show" .... and with a show car comes keeping it clean. I've had weeks where I have had to wash my car almost once a week to keep it clean. Kandy Paint is not easy to keep clean trust me.

Btw, Your rims are ugly as **** .... I think i have a cousin who just dropped a set of those on his 06 impala

Since when did stating an opinion become immature? I didn't tell him "man your rims suck, take them off you should have gotten different rims you idiot"
I gave him my opinion. And I seriously do have a cousin who dropped a set of rims that look darn close to those. I can get you a pic if you like

no, you did worse. you said they look like shit. thats just wrong. It would have been better had you said something along the lines of " i personally dont like them, my cousin.......", but no, you had to throw out the 2 year old in you..... I don't care about your cousins rims..

2. wtf is a "spat"

A discussion, often heated, in which a difference of opinion is expressed

3. Really because every post has some form of bashing in it one way or another.

very true.

I gave an opinion, K thx bai!

it wasn't asked for and the only reason you said it was because you were pissed at his "someone doesn't listen" comment.

K thx bai!

later.

And I don't care about your car? Now your doing exactly what you just told me not to do.

Hmm... Anyway I didn't care about him saying someone doesn't listen I replied knowing full well what he said. But if your gonna try to make a show car [and im sure i read in one of his post that its just a toy and not a dd] then you have to keep it clean. Period-

My Opinion Revised

:

Dear sir,

After looking at your sn197 platform mustang I feel that you choice of rims could have been a better one. The rims on your vehicle are more suited for a truck or an suv.. Or something with a diamond in the back and a sun roof top. The rims on your car are also going to give you a horrible ride quality, lower gas mileage, horrible acceleration, and the cost of high preformance 20" tires are outrageous. Some mustangs can pull off 20" rims, but your car does a poor job at this task.

Thanks,
SSSTANG
