VERY NOTICABLE! you will notice a HUGE differece. nothing in acceleration, but a huge difference in corners that you hit it around and handling and take off. Its worth it.

Just the t'lok. thats all you need. and a couple tools. I would reccomend getting the gears though if your going to have the differential out. It will make it a HELL of a lot easier to install. just a suggestion.

No you will need t-lok and a friction modifier and I would get the bearing kit as well. Also if you ever plan on getting gears just wait cause it will be the same to install with or without them

I honestly would not waste money -

Buying Tlok + paying for install

then

Buying Gears + paying for install

You should buy them together and pay for 1 install

Screw all of this...

Instead of buying gears for 300$ and paying another 200$ for an install

Go to a Junk yard.

Grab an 8.8 Rear end , buy gears for that if its not already geared. And install it yourself.

I've heard nothing but bad things about RPM Outlet.

http://www.speedconcepts.net/product...roducts_id=209

If you are NOT changing gears, all u need is the T-LOC and friction modifier. Although it would probably end up with you needing new bearings. Mine were not reusable after 38,500 miles.

I had my dealer do the install, they had the friction modifier and the bearings. Since my car was still under warranty, SO IS MY T-LOC!

It's a Ford Racing part after all... How cool is that...

Oh, one thing about a T-LOC, breaking the back end loose is not like breaking loose a one-legger!!!

Going STRAIGHT is out of the question, as the power switches from the RIGHT, to the LEFT, to the RIGHT, to the LEFT... Kinda like this... (see below)

You need to relearn the way you burnout... And you may need more power... Same engine, TWICE the traction!

Still, it is awesome for CAREFUL driving... like rain and MUD....

See my road:
http://media.putfile.com/Climbing-th...e---No-Problem

I used to slide all over the f'n place and get stuck with an inch of snow...

Not anymore!

If you switch to 4.10 gears you will need the "modified cross-shaft" also...

I kept my stock 3.31s since I do 99% highway driving...

Have fun.

Yeah bearing kit isn't like something you have to have but if a crush bearing is messed up you'll be glad you got it. Also 99-04 don't need the cross-shaft for 4.10's
