Couple questions.
Ok, so I posted earlier about a wheel bearing. Well I am confident that is one problem with my car. I can feel the play. My other question is, could a worn wheel bearing cause a noise when I hit bumps? I am worried that my driver side strut may be in need of being replaced too! My car has 96k on it, and they are the stock struts. It makes a noise when I hit bumps on that side. I thought at first it was due to wet or dry bushings, but it don't matter, the car can be in the pouring rain or sat in it for a couple days, or been outside in the dry weather and it still makes the noise.
Ok well this blows, cuz this really is cutting the turbo fund down. Ok well if I am going to replace the strut, might as well replace the other side as well. And could as well do the rear shocks. Or maybe not. My question is, I want this car to be my DD but I do go to the track. What would be some good front struts?
I just want to know incase I have to replace them. I might just try the wheel bearing and see if the sound goes away.
