Thanks for the offer on the Supercharger, but I'm pretty confident I want a Turbo kit not a supercharger. I am going to switch out the 3.8L with a 4.2L that already has the split port intake, not going back to the single port intake sorry. If anyone can link me to a good turbo kit that would work for this setup that would be great, but not interested in a supercharger.

TMA TURBO

don't forget you have to mod the fuel rails for the 4.2 swap.

Even running a single port that you'll never be able to get the same flow out of?

Turbo > Intercooled 2.3l whipple > non-intercooled 2.2l KB

Single port can flow more than you believe.

Somebody needs to test the 2.3L whipple on something other than the supercoupe..

Ok Now I'm a bit confused with what the true difference between a turbocharger and a supercharger. When I think of a supercharger I'm getting the image of those huge things that sit on top of the motor that pertrude through the hood and have those weird butterfly thingies on the front. I'm taking that isn't a supercharger since I just watched a video on Youtube about a supercharger installation on a mustang and the thing resembled a turbocharger that was belt driven. So I guess my question is if I'm looking at superchargers then am I going to get the turbo looking thing or that massive looking thing I described above and which one is better/easier to install? Thanks.
