No you will definitely have spacing and maybe clearance issues. The offsets are different on the newer models

The front might be ok but the back will sit in to much, will look funny.

you can run them w/ no issues..but they will look sunken in...a good 1" hubcentric spacer will fix that issue

I think your biggest issue will be with the rear wheels. If I remember correctly, the new edges have longer rear axles than the SN95s and my 2010 GT Premiums fit great on my 2000. Might look a little sunken in on an SN95 though. I hear wheel spacers are unsafe so don't even think of going that route. In my opinion, buy a set of wheels that's made for your year.

They will fit but like they said you will need spacers or grind your calipers the 00 cobra R rims will work fine.

Can I guess it has something to do with a totaled V6 Mustang that left you open to buying a GT?

Earlier as in what year? Pretty much any 94-04 wheels should work just fine.

They'll fit but might look funny. Also please keep it 18" or lower

I'd go Cobra R wheels if I were you.

Go to American Muscle they have all the rims that you would ever need. Just with the 18 bullit's they only DD so i when to OE wheels and got the 18 for the front that aren't DD. If anything get the FR500 they are sick.
