Sounds like exhaust manifold.

Which side is it coming from?

Welcome to owning a Mustang. Our cars make a ton of noises. A lot of us have a ticking noise from our engines and most of us have given up on trying to figure out the cause. Definitely check your exhaust manifolds. If the ticking is coming from there then there's a crack and you've got an exhaust leak. You can get it welded pretty cheap. If it's coming from the engine, get a video of it but more than likely it's just something you'll have to deal with. My engine makes a ticking noise as well, I just let my exhaust drown it out since I haven't found a cause

Mine makes a few noises. Nothing big though. But when I had a leak, it would tick up until the manifolds got hot. Try seafoaming your car and see if the manifolds leak smoke.
