because they are supercars.. we are talking about local class.. not viper srt10, ford gts, ferrari enzo, mcclaron f1, ect.. lol corvettes are where i draw the line at "super car" and the Z06 is indeed a "super car"

thats a personal preference.. people like the way v8s sound because they have represented power for what? ever since they came out.. thats why people are programmed to like the sound.. but id take the sound of ANY ferrari over a cobra

I'm not even gonna touch this thread.
lol

I'll just tell you I have quite a few friends with 800-1200hp Supras, and yes, they are quite streetable...and unlike the Cobra motor, they can be upgraded to that much hp without touching the bottom end.

I'm sure I don't know as much about the Cobra motor as some of you guys do, but unless you can find me proof that it can withstand 1000hp on the stock internals, I'm still skeptical.

Oops, I touched it, didn't I?

whats wrong with the stock look? id rather have a ls1 in a volvo then my slow ass v6. looks arent even half of it. not saying that a supra looks bad
and how would his stand out. almost every single supra looks alike aside from color and wheels. besides that most of them have the exact same body kit. you see one supra youve seen the all.

oh and his car looks better than yours and is faster

there is only one advantage to going fast..

you beat other cars.. now granted thats cool there are alot of cons..

wasting gas, tires, wearing your motor more than normal, more stress on the rear, tranny everything... ect. ect. and a 800+ rwhp street car? they street race thats the only purpose = death, murder, destroyed car, prison time, ect. ect.

looks = everything lol trust me id rather have a badass sound system in my six and drive it over having a 300rwhp anything that has a shit system

i actually like the way my car looks more than a supra.. if i thought supras looked good (which i dont and i dont like skylines either) i would of bought a supra.. not like i couldnt of saved up a bit more and rolled around in a simple like 94 turbo supra.. but i didnt want one.. so yeah i obviously am biased to my car.. 18inch black chrome 03 cobra rims, 1.5inch lower, mach1 grill, chin, and clear gt foglights.. limo tint all around.. HID converted lights..(look cool to me at night).. and i wont even get into my interior where all the real money is at but yeah.. i love the way my car looks over a ***STOCK LOOKING*** supra anyday.. EXCEPT i saw one crazy one up at a car show that was gunmetal gray with a black vinyl it was pretty amazing the wide body kit made it look like a monster

thats you. I enjoy racing more than cruising since cruising leads to street racing and stupid ricers that don't shut their mouths. I love to race therefore how fast you can do the 1/4 mile in = everything trust me

if you build a fast car your not going to give two shits about gas or tires. it comes with the territory. wearing parts out is just part of racing. its not a big deal. if its your only car then its not the smartest thing to do in case something breaks. but none the less.... you dont make your car fast then complain about how much it costs to maintain it... thats just how it is.

i would rather go fast with a stock stereo then go slow with a badass stereo... even though i do have a good stereo system right now -_- but thats because i dont want to waste money on my bitch.

lol i guess i just dont like racing all that much.. its all the same.. but dont get me wrong i will throw down a bill on a race ONCE IN A BLUE MOON.. and i do have full bolt-ons in my car but i just enjoy the way a car looks/sounds/comforts(if your in it) more than how fast it goes.. and i know you dont bitch about tires and gas.. i know all about that .. i just dont think its all that great.. if i had a 454 laying around i would find a shell to put it in and turn it into my dragster. BUT ON A STREET CAR WHY MAKE IT CRAZY FAST? THATS DUMB TO ME.. i dont think yall both caught the part that i dont think your DD should be blasting out all that power.. for a dragster or race car FOR A TRACK thats badass dude more power to you.. but i dont like a "FAST N THE FURIOUS" style street car.. its a joke to me.. anyways i hope yall get my point.. TRUST ME!
