I want low 14 1/4's, help a brotha out.


my plan soon is to get a Diablosport Predator tuner from a local dyno shop here, then 3.73 gears on a 7.5 tlock rear end.
After that i want a CAI, MAC long tube headers into a true dual exhaust (catless) with an H pipe. And UD pulleys on top of that. New screamin demon coil pack with msd 8.5 mm wires and NGK Iridium plugs. And then after all that go see the guys where im going to get the tuner and have them dyno tune all this for me.

What numbers should i be expecting in a 1/4 and in hp/tq?

Youre talk of a setup VERY smiliar to mine.

My good friend Greg has an 03 V6, has almost everything I have MINUS LT headers and runs a 15.1 tuned with an SCT XCal II. Im sure a few more tweeks would get 14s on the board.

HP/tq has a lot of variables. 250 maybe 260 for hp probably see 14.6-8, six being an amazing driver on slicks.

Hm.. not sure about cams, I mean, I personally dont have one so I couldnt tell ya the benefits.

cam can give you 0-30 hp it all depends on a lot of things.

260hp - FW or RWH?

Because i'm sure 260rwh would get you down the 1/4mile just a tad faster than 14.6

possibly but I would rather over under estimate and not have people disappointed

and it was pretty late when I added everything up it is probably closer to 240

You don't need any were need 250 rwhp to run mid 14's. Ab has gone 14.7 with a split port auto with full bolt ons and gears.

you need bolt ons, 4.10st-lok and a good tune from a dyno place...just an Xcal2 isnt gonna cut it
or just get a 50-75shot...$500..
ors bolts ons and a cam and a good driver

BUY A GT! lol yeah right haha buy a cobra skip the 14s and go straight to 12s! but on the real TURBO UP IN THIS PIECE

or you can buy a supra.. they are hott with the race scene nowadays
