Lower Door Hinge replacement 2000 Mustang

Hello all

I just bought a replacement lower door hinge due to the one on my door worn out. I was wondering if anyone has replaced this one before and if there are any write ups/pics that I could see?

I don't know if any write-ups but I don't imagine it's a difficult swap. Take a jack and put a cloth over it (easier on your paint) and jack it up just enough that it's supporting your door so it won't fuck up the top hinge when you take off the bottom one. I haven't looked at the door hinges but I imagine they're just bolted on. So remove the bolts, remove the hinge, hold the new hinge in place and reinstall bolts (or use new bolts if you got new bolts with your hinge).

Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

Right lower door hinge 2000 mustang.

Go to Ford Dealer and get correct hinge. There are 4 bolts on the outside if the hinge. There is one nut on the inside behind kick panel. After you remove the kick panel cover you will see 3 wire harnesses. You will see a little bolt that will remove the wiring harness aside. I used a spark plug socket to remove the inter hinge nut. Like everyone says get a jack & a friend for help. I removed the two bolts from the top of door to get to two of the lower hinge bolts. Just install everything in reverse order. No need for alignment. Unbolt/rebolt.
