transmission problems

i had a new stage 1 clutch installed on my car about 2 weeks ago because the old one was going bad. i drove it easy for 450 miles because i had to break it in or so the instructions said. theres a sound now coming from near right below where the shifter is and you can hear something getting knocked around in there. the sound occurs prob every 3 seconds and then when i push in the clutch, the sound goes away. any ideas on what it could be?

$10 says its your throwout bearing. either the people who installed it didnt put a new one in or they screwed up the new one while installing. i have the same problem... only difference, i installed the clutch myself

wouldnt damage your throwout bearing. Almost impossible to screw that up unless its a Chinese piece of shit, or the mechanic didnt put it in right.
