Downey, the buddy of mine I bought it from, bought it for his 04 Cobra, but never used it. So I dont think it has a pretune on it. Just stated that it was "unmarried" to his car and had it for sale. So I asked if Itll still work on mine [since I always see different tuners for different cars] and he called SCT themselves and they said it was good for me to buy.

you need to get a tuner now man.

you send him your list of mods and he will e-mail you a tune you can download to the x-cal.

No no, you misunderstood. I already bought it. I have it. Thus the picture I took. heh. Besides, Im not gonna use it now, Im not done with the car yet. If I do use it now, its to recalibrate my speedometer from my 4.10 gear install and get my Check Engine light off. I need to install my stroker kit and the poweradder Im going to purchase, which I have yet to decide which to buy.

i didn't misunderstand...lol when i said you need a tuner i meant you need a person to tune you car...lol.. that's what they do in case you don't know what your doing.. you can pretty easily blow your car up with that x-cal if you don't know how to tune it bro.

you need to get it recalibrated to your computer code if it was for his car also unless you can write a tune call vmp have them make you one and email it to you you can load it to the tuner with the pc to tuner cable they sale.
