Opinions and thoughts please

so just to let u know this is gonna be alot but anyway im chris and am 17 at the moment i have a 2002 v6 mustang automatic and a list of things i want to do to it but need to know some opinions and where would be the best place to get these things, my dad has a nice shop that we work on cars in and i am mechanically minded and can do some of the installs but not all

1- ford 9 inch or moser nine inch rear end (hope fully a kit that includes, axles, gears, etc....
2- steven morris racing engine with 900-1100 hp
3- powertrax limited slip locker
4- any suspension kit (shocks, struts, springs, k member, panhard bar, control arms, sway bars etc.. pretty much everything in the suspension hopefully a kit) that would be adjustable maybe eibach, or ford racing, or bilstein
5- rear seat delete that would make the floor of the trunk level to the back of the seats, so u can look all the way back to the trunk
6- 6 point roll cage from rigid racing
7- tremec 6 speed transmission and a new driveshaft
8- brembo big breaks front and back ( rotor, caliper, braided lines) that would fit in a 17 inch fr500 wheel
9- sparco racing seats
10- sparco 5 point harnesses
11- anti roll kit
12- probly a fuel cell of some kind and size, not known yet, probly about the same amount as the stock fuel tank
13- anything u guys may suggest that would help me out with my life long project

i want this car to handle like its on a rail, and have around 10 seconds or less in the quarter, i know its gonna cost a huge amount, and take a hell of a long time but its my passion, if anyone could help me out with this thatd be great

Sounds like you already good what you need. Except some spray or S/C or turbo setup. you could honestly get all this expect the engine off of Ebay. Well, you could prolly get the engine off ebay also. Also, if you going for all out drag, dont put the tremec in it. It will NOT hold up to 1000hp. You need at least a C4. I believe the C4 is rated for about 1000hp. If not, get the C6, they are rated for up to 1500hp. But, seriously dont get the tremec.

your also going to need at least a 2800 stall converter and a stabilizer bar and
some nice subframe connectors. Best bet would be to get some custom welded connectors. With that hp you would also need a FULL roll cage. Chris will prolly drop in on this. He knows a LOT more about this than me or anyone else on this site.

Well if you're going for it take out the ac/radio/etc to drop your weight. I mean if you're serious about the draging. No point in putting that much money in it to keep the extra weight

Ya I didn't see the turbo-s/c or spray on that list either. If you're pushing that much hp why not complement it?

the engine from steven morris comes with a supercharger on it and i plan on getting the intercooler as well, im not really goin for all drag otherwise i wouldnt want it to handle so good through corners like i have said before, so how much hp do you think i should have if i dont want shell it out. i mean i like dragging as well but i dont want to limit it to just that but i want it to run at least low 10's or even better low 9's in the quarter so probly around 700 or 750 horses probly, or would the t-56 not handle that even, and im not planning on keeping it an auto i would really like to convert it to a manual or is that to much? another thing is that u cant really have a passenger seat with a full cage can you so maybe a 8 point?

lol auto with 700-750hp? you're not serious right? why on earth would you use an auto with that much hp. If you plan on using this to win races (what kind is up to you) you need a manual

i'd love to see what engine your talking about that stock throws down 900-1100hp...and a 6point rollcage isnt legal for that kinda power....900hp your not gunna run low 10s...your looking at 9s for sure. and once you reach 9.99 in the 1/4 you need a better rollcage then a 6point

the place id get the engine from is www.stevemorrisracingengines.comn using a centrifugal supercharger, somewhere around 700-750 hp so then i could use a 6 spd trany. i dont want it to just be able to go in a straight line, i want it to be able to do both 1/4 mile and courses fairly well, and what i said earlier is that i plan on changing it over to a manual. and could i use a 8 point roll cage instead of a 6. first of all 700hp is much different then 900-1000hp and those engines are rediculously priced.....$25k....$35k your crazy if you pay that much just for the engine

and a 750hp car on a course the way that power is being used...9second cars and course DONT MIX

i hope you won the lottery cuz that the only way i see you geting all that and that engine

so basically my thought is your in way over your head
do you have any idea what kinda suspension you'll need?
money your gonna need?
tunning?
time?
have you ever been in a car with 1000hp?
a 6 speed isnt what you need for a 1000hp car....a hurst shifter and a auto tranny..

ive been in a 800hp that i didnt drive...and i know i couldnt go from a 190-200hp to a monster like that over night

a 1000hp isnt just fun an games
and almost anything you want for that car you'll have to order online cuz i work at advanced auto parts and places like that dont sell jack shit for an engine putting out 1000hp, we might sell some oil for it...or brake fluid, but not even a fuckin bolt.

think what your doing. your gonna need to re-do EVERYTHING on that car
engine
tranny
driver shaft
axle
i dont have the first clue where the hell you find a clutch for that power
suspension
chassy
u joint
k member
computer
speed gauge
other gauges

thats just the stuff i know you'll need i know im missing a lot of shit
