CONTINUING POWER STEERING WOES


MY PREVIOUS POST STATED THAT IT WHINES, ITS SO LOUD AT TIMES IT TURNS HEADS AND ALMOST SOUNDS LIKE THERE IS NO FLUID, SINCE LAST POST I HAVE REPLACED PUMP AND ALSO HIGH PRESSURE HOSE AND IT STILL SCREAMS WHILE MAKING TURNS. POSSIBLE THE RACK IS BAD?? PLEASE GIVE SUGGESTIONS. THANKS (2001 3.8)

power steering pump


Are you sure you have all the air out of the system?

The shop manual mentions a special bleeding procedure. You might look into that.

mustang cry as 232 said..... but if its very loud but I mean loud that can scare it may be something wrong cause mine cries as normal but it's something not so loud and it doesnt anoy me In fact I sometime doesn't noticedit hehe
