Needing help


okay well I'm not sure if I'm posting this in the right area but hey,
so last night i was driving back from a buddies house,and was on the highway and my car started knocking and white smoking and lost all power then died.
i cut it off and coasted off the service road,i towed the car home and went to looking around. whats up..


1.oil all in the intake tube and tb.

2.will crank but wont start.

3. was white smoking and and knocking.

let me know what you think it could be.

sounds like your head gasket went and you started to leak coolant into your engine.

yea sounds like a head gasket. the knock on the other hand..... more than likely due to the blown head gasket (if in fact is).... not good

Sounds like you blew a heads gasket which caused the leak, then the liquid that got into you engine wont compress, so you bent a rod...

Don't ask how I know that so well...

so its my head gaskets, and i'm guessing the only way to figure out if i bent a rod is to pull the engine apart right?

Yep, get to it! It's really not that bad though. Probably around a 6 hour job. Unless of course you did bend a rod, then it's more work and just a better idea to swap a whole engine in since they're so cheap.

no, but you can buy one at any auto parts store for 25$
