someone said there is info in the FMS catalogs on this motor... if anyone see's any info post it up.... if im not mistaken the motormounts are in the same location and it will fit, but the accessories would need some re-working... supposibly these will crank up to 500hp N/A and over 1000hp on a turbo setup? but the parts aren't interchangable with the 3.8/4.2 series v6's.

If I remember correctly that 4.5 is a bit on the pricey side, but when I was thinking about it I was in the svo mustangs.

Ford 4.5L SVO even fire engine complete from intake to pan with dry sump pump just add carb. It is fresh with about 6-8 1/8th mile passes. It is upgraded with diamond 10:1 pistons, copper head gaskets with o-ring/receiver grooves, custom turbo roller camshaft. It has all clevite race main/rod bearings, carillo rods, cnc ported heads, ported intake. It made right at 900 hp with 15 lbs of boost.
I also have the following spare parts included as a package deal. 1 spare set of bare ported heads, rocker rollers, head studs, 1 new turbo cam, 2-3 used n/a cams, 3 brand new untouched blank camshafts, and intake. The engine and parts are located in Poplar Bluff, MO. $7500 FIRM. NO TRADES!!! snoopstang@yahoo.com

Old thread from the dead.
But always worth it when the man of 4.5L wieghs in on this subject. hands down the sickest v6 I have ever seen. I don't even know many v8's that make that much power on only 15psi.
