What to add...

Hey all , I recently purchased a 2004 Anniversary Edition Mustang and am wondering what I should put in it to both sound and perform better. I'm not a car buff so I really have no idea what to add to the car, but some tips on what to do would be great. Thanks.

Can someone put that one post explaining everything as a sticky or a popup for first timers? I'm serious about the sticky though, everyone is mainly interested in that when they come to an online forum. Explaining the basics would be a big help and cut down on a ton of new topics with same content just different user.

I paid less than $600 for my upgrades and am very happy with the immeadiate results. I used to think it was cool when people asked me "is that a V-8". They ask that because of the sweet ass duel pipes coming out the back and the deep sound that it makes. From my limited car expertise ( very limited) my CAI and exhaust was inexpensive and added noticable throttle response and sound. You don't have to know squat to get a good deal on them and they can't mess anything up. I would suggest a flash tuner too ( even though I dont have one yet.... Im not bored enough yet with what I have). Ive been told that it will complete the "easy" most dramatic mods for your buck. I was told that after these three, the price starts to skyrocket and the results are less noticable.

Aside from a just adding a dual exhaust, i think my LT headers gave the sound a bit more rumble. I got alot more "is that a GT?" questions after this was done. As for as very noticable performance, the pullies, the larger gears, and the exhaust setup I have so far, from headers to the tailpipes. Havent used the tuner I bought yet, Im sure thatll add some extra bawlz.
