crown vic 4.6 swap

so i got to thinkin the other day about swapping my engine out for a 4.6. how practical would it be to swap in the 4.6 and tranny from a crown vic if i got a complete donor car? ive found some with lower miles than my mustang has now for less than $2,000. i'm sure it would be possible with enough time and tools but would it be worth it?

the 98 and previous 4.6's wernt very powerful, but above that year they are very good engines.

The motor in my gt spun a rod bearing. I used a motor out of a 01 grand maquis. Only had 26k miles and got it for $400. Works great.

Just remember you need more than the motor and tranny ... computer, accessories, k member I think, ect ect. Front suspension probably needs to be upgraded too for the extra weight.
